Welcome to River Trail Middle School PTA! As we look forward to the 2010-2011 school year, the planning for the PTA year has begun. As you know, PTA sponsors many programs that benefit our students and families throughout the school year, but none of these programs happen without your support and commitment. We would like to invite you to become a member of the River Trail PTA. As a member of the PTA, you will be able to stay in touch with other middle school parents and find out important information about what is happening at school. This is a great way to stay involved with your student’s middle school experience.
We are really excited about our “ONE-STOP Shop” membership bundles which now include Spirit Wear. Our membership drive is our primary method to generate income to provide programs for our children, as we do not have fundraisers. Please be sure to stop by the cafeteria during Sneak Peek and visit the PTA Membership table. You will see that we offer sever
al different levels of membership. In order to receive a student directory you must join at the Bronze level or higher. Yearbooks are offered in the Gold and Silver level at a discounted price.
Thanks to those who have already volunteered to help or chair a committee for this upcoming year. There are still many opportunities available and we hope that you will take a few minutes to stop by the volunteer table at Sneek Peak and complete the Parent Participation Survey for the 2010-11 school year. Please remember no matter where your talents or interests lie, there is a place for you in the River Trail PTA!
A great way to stay current with PTA activities is to regulary visit our website at www.rivertrailpta.org. We send out weekly emails to keep you informed, so take a moment to add your name to the distribution list on the website. This information is also posted weekly under the News Tab of this website.
