Dear Parents:
Welcome! We hope you enjoyed your summer break and are ready for the school year. As PTA co-presidents, we encourage you to be a part of your child’s River Trail experience by getting involved with the PTA. We are committed to enhancing our children’s academic experience by supporting the teaching staff. We will provide our children with enrichment programs and many exciting student activities. However, we will not be successful without your support!
Our membership drive is our PRIMARY method to generate income to provide programs for our children, as we do not have fundraisers. Because of our present economy, our theme this year is “value added membership”. We are committed to providing our school with the quality programs expected, while keeping the costs in line. In this light, we have lowered our Membership prices this year. You will find the PTA Membership form on this website and will see that we offer several different levels of membership. Please be sure to read through each of the levels and select the one most appropriate for your family. Please be aware that the only way to get a student directory is to join at the Bronze level or higher.
In addition to joining the PTA, we encourage you to become an active member. Your time and talents will be such an asset to our organization. Please take a moment to find the PTA Volunteer Opportunities form in your student’s packet. Look it over to see the existing PTA committees, and determine where you might like to lend a hand.
Also, we send out weekly emails to keep you informed, so take a moment to add your name to the distribution list on this website.
Our children need us to be involved in their lives and the River Trail PTA provides that opportunity. We look forward to working with you this year. Thank you in advance for your help and support!
