Dear Parents:
The temps are getting warmer and the kids are anxious to be outside again. Who needs a calendar to tell us that the school year is coming to an end and summer is around the corner? The kids are counting down the weeks to summer and so are we! Summer break is a time to rest and re-charge, but before we can do so, there are loose ends to tie.
You will be pleased to know that at the GA PTA District 10 Awards ceremony, we were awarded second place for Outstanding Local Unit. This recognition comes as a result of the hard work and dedication of all of our volunteers.

At the General PTA meeting on April 13th, the following slate of officers was elected to lead our PTA for the 2009-2010 school year. Please be sure to congratulate and thank these volunteers the next time you see them. Ask them how you might be able to lend them a hand in their PTA initiatives…that’ll make them smile!

We have several WolfPack Night events coming up, so we hope to see you and your kids enjoying time together outside of school either at the Gwinnett Braves Game or the Scoop for the School Night. The 8th Grade Dance will be on Friday, May 15th. All yearbooks will be distributed the last week of school.
Finally, we want to thank Mrs. Melin, her staff, and faculty for their continued support of and involvement in our PTA programs. Together we are a team destined to do great things year after year!
