RTMS Families,

On behalf of PTA, we would like to thank you for your support this year. We hope you and your family have a safe and relaxing summer.

We will continue to update you throughout the summer on our membership drive and important upcoming dates for the 2012-2013 school year.

We would like to share with you all of the PTA programs that would not happen without your support. The following programs are successful because of your donations and your willingness to volunteer. We encourage all of our River Trail families to join PTA next year so we can continue to make our school a great place to learn and succeed.  

PTA Programs:  Reflections, Pack Em in Dance, Eighth Grade Dance, Art Support, Parent to Parent, Building/Campus Beautification, Staff Appreciation, Red Ribbon Week, Mini-Grants, Book Fair, Technology Fair, Spirit Wear, School Store, Exceptional Children's Week, Picture Day, Box Tops, and Health & Safety.

Lastly, please be sure to share with your neighbors who have rising 6th graders or who are new to River Trail, our website at www.rivertrailpta.org. They can sign up to receive weekly updates through our Enews letter in  order to stay up to date on upcoming events for the 2012-2013 school year.

8^th Grade Celebration

The 8th Grade Celebration was a great success. We were delighted that most of the eighth grade students attended and enjoyed a wonderful evening of music, food and friendship. On behalf of the PTA, we congratulate them on their achievements and wish them continued success on their journey into high school and beyond.

The PTA would like to thank co-chairs Christina Anderson, Becky Ferguson, and Julie Clowe for all of the numerous hours of hard work and leadership during this event, as well as sub committee chairs Sheila Bailey, Annette Kruger, Bichette Ramzy, Cathy Ryan, and Monique Ziegler.

We would also like to thank all the other parents who volunteered in many various capacities and helped to make it an amazing night our 8th graders will never forget.

Volunteer of the Month 

 Congratulations to the April "Volunteer of the Month" winners Julie Clowe and Naomi Fujita. They will each receive gift certificates to Chick-fil-A. River Trail Middle School thanks them and all volunteers for their hard work, dedication and support!
